I build green AI — locally owned tooling that runs on the computer you already have. Too many powerful tools are locked behind subscription models and walled gardens, with every request routed to a datacenter that has to be built, powered, and cooled on your behalf. I take those capabilities and package them into standalone applications you can download, own, and run on your own hardware: no cloud, no round trip, no meter running. Hardware you already paid for, doing work you already wanted done. My current release platform is Steam.

My background is in large-scale distributed systems — nearly two decades on sprawling monolithic web applications spread across a hundred-plus servers, in energy, healthcare, government, and everything in between. I'm a full stack engineer in the literal sense: I've worked every layer of these systems, from the Linux kernel up to the interface the user actually touches, along with the system administration, IaaS, and project management it takes to keep something that size running. Now I channel all of that into single-purpose AI tools that just work, no cloud required.

ChimpChat — a local, private text-to-speech engine with full voice cloning — releases on Steam September 1, 2026, followed by Chimptype — AI-powered speaker diarization and transcription — on September 10. Both run 100% on your hardware with no cloud required. Close behind them is Chimpshot — data-driven mouse sensitivity optimization for FPS games that detects overshoots in your aim and recommends the DPI and sensitivity settings that fit how you actually move. Outside of code, I'm a dedicated father and an advocate for using technology to make a real-world impact.
